Time Zone: EST (GMT -5) Speed: Variable. I'm a pretty slow writer a lot of the time but I can churn out memes and network stuff pretty quickly IF the content isn't too emotionally heavy. If I feel like including a lot of introspection though I'll be a lot slower. Backtagging: Yes! And if I ever drop something that you're eager to continue, feel free to give me a poke, it's possible I just lost the notification or something, or I'll be perfectly happy to put in the extra effort to continue. Threadhopping: Totally fine, esp. if it's like network threads or whatever. I strongly encourage comedic interruptions. Fourth-walling: Ehhhh... I'd prefer not but if you have an idea you're particularly enthusiastic about, feel free to run it by me first. Exception: it's totally cool if your character knows what a mobile suit or gundam is.

Neg. CR: 5lan is something of an antagonist in his canon and he can be a bit abrasive and annoying, just in general. He may act rude or manipulative at times, and you may really have to work to get a truly positive relationship going with him. He is, at the end of the day, a shitty teen with trust issues, and he's not going to open up to anyone without a lot of work being put in. Basically what I'm saying is he has a high likelihood for negative/complicated CR so if that's not your jam and you'd rather not bother with it, I do have an opt-out comment available that you can reply to below. Shipping preferences: I am OPEN to shipping, but 5lan's a prickly little guy so you're really gonna have to work for it! Keep in mind that he's about 17-18ish, and I'd probably prefer to keep his options limited to characters around the same age... No younger than 16 (hard limit), probably no older than 19~ish (though if we're familiar w/ each other OOCly I may allow a bit more wiggle room on that one). Hugging/Kissing/Flirting with this character: Hugging/Kissing/Touching in general is something he's NOT going to be a fan of if you try to spring it on him without warning; I'm cool with characters trying, just know he might get irked about it. Flirting is open game, he will probably just think it's funny or say something kinda snarky back about it, idk. He does have a tendency to act a bit flirty himself, see warnings for more details. Fighting with/Injuring/Killing this character: When it comes to this sort of thing I'm generally open to it but I also like to really plan it out to make sure both parties are on the same page, so please ask first! But most likely you can (and should) probably kick his ass. Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Probably fine, but please ask first! Warnings: Non-con/sexual harassment: So this is the part where I have to disclose that. UNFORTUNATELY, Elan's whole introduction in his canon involves him trying to commit corporate espionage by means of seducing the main character. He gets pretty pushy and obnoxious, and in a couple of really spine-chilling scenes he tries to corner and forcibly kiss her. In fairness, when he's using these tactics in canon this it's under threat of literal execution from his "employers" if he doesn't give them results, and he does apologize about it later on. But it still must needs be noted that he's not above like. Weird flirting and encroaching on personal space if he thinks it's a tactic that'll benefit him. Throwbacks/mentions of past instances in introspection can be avoided if you prefer. He's also sort of a weird little hedonist so like, occasionally he may make weird comments/passes at people if he thinks it'll benefit him, or if he just thinks it's funny??? That kind of behavior is opt-in only, I have a separate comment below where you can tell me if you're OK w/ that. Medical & Body & Identity horror: His backstory involves a lot of like... Creepy medical and identity horror shit, because he was literally changed via futuristic surgeries and other procedures into looking like an entirely different person. The medical stuff I won't really go into too much detail on because we're not really GIVEN any details on how an Enhanced Person is made, but the identity stuff is the really crunchy juicy content that I'm more likely to be getting into... So I guess be warned if you have issues with like... Content exploring what it'd be like, emotionally and physically, to wake up having changed into a completely different person? Just lmk, I can dial things back if that's an issue for you. From my end, my only real content trigger is stuff involving harm to dogs, so please avoid/warn if you think that might come up in a thread! Other Stuff: WHEN IN DOUBT, just ask! Elan's not above making passes at people who are around his own age. 99% of the time, if he does, it's not going to be genuine. He'll do it sometimes to manipulate, or just to butter someone up... Or he may even just do it as some kind of joke.

Given that unwanted comments of this nature are a very real issue for many of us IRL, I'm making it so you must opt-in with a character to let me know if it's OK for me to potentially have him make his dumb little flirts. Understand that this is NOT an agreement to engage in any serious shipping or anything of the sort, it's just letting me know that you're comfortable with my stupid barbie possibly making a flirtatious comment at your barbie.
